Film Finance expert Chuck Bush founded Great Road Capital in 2006 and has 17 years of film finance, corporate finance and strategic consulting experience. Mr. Bush created GRC to fill the need in the film and television market for smart business advisors who can lead companies from inception to a successful exit that maximizes returns to investors while allowing creative individuals to realize their vision. Jarett Poll joined Great Road Capital, Inc. ("GRC") in 2010 to help the company develop and improve its financial modeling and sophisticated analytics. He helped create and develop the firm's "Film Finance 101 Seminar" presentation. As an Analyst, Mr. Poll conducts complex financial analysis and develops presentation materials for GRC's clients.
Prior to joining Great Road Capital, Mr. Poll was a broker and trader with mutual fund giant The Vanguard Group. While at Vanguard, Mr. Poll received his department's 2010 award for excellence in service and performance. He also developed research on market and economic activity, delivered presentations on his findings to department heads and prepared associates for client inquiries and needs.
Jarett received his BA from the University of Arizona's Eller College of Management with a concentration in finance. He has completed an investment banking training program through the Investment Banking Institute ("IBI") and is also a level 2 CFA candidate.
As Creative Executive, Liza Olson provides story analysis and creative consultation on entertainment projects. Ms. Olson has more than fifteen years experience writing and developing content for visual media. Most recently she provided story analysis on screenplays, teleplays, and books for two Hollywood development companies.
Ms. Olson has extensive experience in the broadcast television industry, including NBC Universal's Local Media division. There she wrote and produced live television news broadcasts for NBC's owned and operated station in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to that, Ms. Olson wrote and produced live television news broadcasts for an NBC affiliate station in Minnesota.
Ms. Olson has studied screenwriting and feature film development at UCLA Extension, and a B.A. in Communication, Political Science, and Journalism at the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
Ms. Olson is a member of Women in Film, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, and the Alliance for Women in Media.
Dr. Dattner has helped a wide variety of corporate and non-profit organizations become more successful by developing a better understanding of the impact of individual psychology and group dynamics on their performance. His consulting services enable organizations to make better hiring and staffing decisions, to enhance the professional capabilities of managers and employees, to configure teams more effectively, and to reduce the amount of interpersonal and intergroup conflict.
He is an Adjunct Professor at New York University, where he teaches Organizational Development in the Industrial and Organizational Psychology MA Program in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. He has also taught Strategic Career Management in the Executive MBA Program at Stern Business School. Dr. Dattner received a BA in Psychology from Harvard College, and his MA and Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from New York University, where he was a MacCracken Fellow.
